Privacy notice
This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Turkish version is the legally binding text.
This notice explains, under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), how your personal data is processed when you visit hasanncelik.com or get in touch with me.
Data controller
The data controller is Hasan Çelik. I am an individual, not a company; I publish my own photographs on this site.

What is processed while you browse the site?
Nothing. There are no forms, no accounts, no cookies, no advertising and no visitor tracking on this site. You are not asked for any information and your browsing is not recorded.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, Inc. As with any web server, short-lived technical records (such as IP address and browser information) are created there. They are needed to run and secure the site; I do not review or store them on an individual basis.
If you get in touch
If you send me an email or write to me on Instagram, your name, your contact details and the content of your message reach me.
- Purpose: to answer your question, consider commissions and continue our correspondence.
- Legal basis: KVKK Art. 5/2-c (directly related to the conclusion of a contract) and Art. 5/2-f (legitimate interest).
- How it is collected: electronically, when you write to me.
Your data is never sold, used for marketing or shared with third parties.
Who is it shared with, is it transferred abroad?
I use these services to run the site and my email:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting the site and forwarding email
- Google LLC (Gmail) — the service where email is received and stored
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (Instagram) — if you write on Instagram, your message is held on that platform
These companies’ servers may be located outside Turkey (mainly in the United States), so your data is transferred abroad when you contact me. If you write on Instagram, your message is also subject to Instagram’s own privacy policy.
Information may also be disclosed to legally authorised public authorities where required by law.
How long is it kept?
Correspondence is kept for at most 2 years after the matter is closed. Correspondence that turns into a working relationship is kept for the periods required by the relevant legislation. After that it is deleted.
Security
My accounts are protected with two-step verification, the site is served over encrypted HTTPS, and no more data is collected than necessary. If I learn that data has been obtained unlawfully, I will notify the Turkish Data Protection Authority and you.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it
- learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
- know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it is transferred
- request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate
- request its deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in the law
- request that third parties to whom it was transferred be notified of such correction, deletion or destruction
- object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis
- claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing

Changes
This notice is updated whenever a new feature is added to the site (for example a contact form or print sales). The current version is always on this page.
